It was so delicious I ordered another case. The cream soda has a richness and flavor that isn’t quite like any other diet cream soda—it’s almost like caramel or butterscotch. It certainly doesn’t taste “diet.” Before tasting this diet cream soda, Dr. Browns Diet Cream Soda was my favorite—that one is a bit lighter and less sweet—but I think Boylan has just supplanted it. At less than $2.20 a bottle (excluding state tax), it doesn’t seem to be exorbitantly priced. The case arrived in perfect condition, earlier than the latest projected date, with no broken bottles or even any bottles askew. The 24 bottles are secure in six four-bottle cardboard “carrier” boxes. I’d prefer not having foam peanuts to have to deal with but that’s a small price to pay for flawless shipping. EDIT: Wow, I am super impressed! I just got a new order of Boylan Diet Cream Soda (24 bottles) and it’s packaged with easy-to-deal-with, biodegradable/compostable, waste paper pulp, egg carton-style packaging! (I was dreading—really!—those foam peanuts that got everywhere, no matter what.) See the attached image. If my original review, which mentioned the foam peanuts, had anything to do with that (I’d be surprised if it did), well, I’m even more pleased.
