Advantages of Lechuza-Pon Lechuza-Pon is suitable for all plants (including orchids and citrus plants). Lechuza-Pon is made of high quality mineral rocks that are free of impurities and pollutants. Lechuza-Pon has an optimal air-water ratio for plants (45% water:55% air). This reduces the susceptibility to diseases. Even after years, the structurally stable plant substrate does not compact and retains its air-permeable structure. Lechuza-Pon does not need to be replaced even after years! Multiple sieving during production reduces fine particles in the rock to a minimum. This prevents silting in the root area and preserves the permanent capillarity.
