He is skinny size 30 in waist. He's wearing Mens small.** A: My son is 5 9 and 165 lb and athletic build. We purchased a size medium and we are returning it to get a large. So your son would fit into a medium, but if he's still growing I would feel comfortable going with a large for him. **Q: I've got some little guys that need swim parkas. One is under 42" tall, other is at 42" tall. Anyone can recommend sizing?** A: I think an xxs will work. it may be a little big but at least they won't out grow them in a year . my son got a aussie parka last year. which was such a great warm coat. I bought him an size 8 when he was a size 5. he has had a growth sper and its getting a bit snug for him. check out great aussie swim parkas . they are fairly cheap as well. **Q: Which is a better inner liner if you are wet, the fleece here versus the towel liner in the AquaDash ones, and why?** A: I assume when wet the towel lining is heavier and it takes longer to dry. Also, fleece by nature holds heat. I have fleece and I love that it is warm and dries fast. **Q: Will an extra small fit a small framed 6th grader?** A: It’s very true to size. My son normally wears a men’s small and I did order the men’s medium (for extra room)... if I would have chosen the small, it would have been an exact fit.
