Each set came with the top dried out enough that part of it had to be tossed out. They did come with protective coverings but they were askew, causing the cloud puff to dry out prior to opening. Overall this is a great product when it isn’t dry and really helps my kid with sensory issues and anxiety. The soft texture makes it easier to clean up than slime and doesn’t typically make much of a mess. I also like that it CAN dry out when they make sculptures so we can keep them or play with them unlike playdoh.
