The light is in the center, while the solar array is on the side where the sun comes up. It works great, so now all I need to do is finalize the install by anchoring the cord all the way across so it doesn't hang down. I didn't want to go through all that trouble in case it wasn't enough and I had to install something else. And they are working at night whenever I have to run around out there. I don’t have to take an extra light with me anymore. I still do but only out of force of habit. The one thing I’m not exactly happy about,( therefore, I only gave it four stars), is the light is a little dimmer than I had hoped it would be.. Still, not a dealbreaker.
