I purchased my Dual Boiler in 2012, and have used it 5-6 times every day since then. 18 months after I bought it, it had a problem with the solenoid and Breville replaced the entire unit, no questions asked. A few years after that, the replacement unit started acting funky and, again, Breville sent me a brand new unit. It's now 7 years after my initial purchase and the machine just started having an issue with the filter basket sticking. I spent 3 minutes on the phone with customer service: they diagnosed the problem, together we confirmed it, and they are mailing me a replacement part this afternoon - at no cost to me. (Breville prints their customer service phone number on the machine so you can call them.) Great espresso machine.
