Guest eKeys can be resent to anyone as needed and after a 24-hour period, they will be automatically deleted. The app's lock history displays all of your Kevo's activity, including sending and accepting eKeys and any locking and unlocking of your Kevo smart lock. Kevo is the only smart lock that is intelligent enough to know whether you and your phone are inside or outside of your home before unlocking. When your phone is indoors, Kevo maintains your home's security and will not unlock if touched, keeping your family secure. When your phone is outside, Kevo will recognize you approaching your front door and will unlock when touched, so your phone can stay in your pocket or purse. Kevo uses multiple levels of military-grade encryption and dual factor authentification to guarantee advanced smart lock security. Kevo is engineered for easy installation. Kevo app contains a step-by-step guide to installing and configuring the Gen 2 lock. For your convenience the lock is designed with color-coded connectors, easy-install mounting plate, easy-access window on interior and includes standard and drive latch.
