Our Electrolux Icon refer has several serious design flaws and a couple poor construction issues. The first is that the support frame wouldn't hold the refrigerator upright, by this I mean it would tilt easily back and forth about 3-4 inches. I had to stiffen up the front supports with a 1/4-1/2" thick piece of hard wood once the unit was in place. Number two there was a fifty cent piece size spot on the upper back lefthand side that sweat profusely. Obvious insulation problem, I attached 1 inch of hi density foam to the whole back of the unit. One of the bottom slide out drawers broke and had to purchase new pieces which broke during installation! I fabricated a stainless steel modification to fix permanently. Then the were the two one hundred dollar plus door seals we've had to replace. We're on the third one which has lasted over two years now however you must keep that seal very clean or it sticks to the door opening and tears. Seems like the rubber or plastic is too soft. I'D THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE BUYING ANY ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS!

The Electrolux ICON frig has never gone more than 6 mos. without a service call. I bet we have paid more in service calls and ruined food than the frig cost. The vegetables and fruit in the chiller drawers freeze and the fan has been replaced at least 7 times because the blades froze and/or broke off because they hit the ice build-up. (*This is a refrigerator, not a freezer.)Came with the house, but I would NEVER recommend.

Have had the Icon all refrigerator and freezer combo for almost a year...with no problems. There a many negative reviews on quality that gave me anxiety when purchasing. Fingers crossed!

I love the way it looks and works. It's very organized with the pull out drawers and extra shelves on the door.I definitely recommend this freezer!

Never buy an Electrolux fridge. ice maker never worked from the day I bought it 2 years ago. 20 call outs later and Electrolux refuse to replace. They don't stand by their product guarantee.
