Make sure to look at backblaze so you don't end up with dead drives. Looking at backblaze a good majority of the these models are pretty reliable. As for this drive, I have around 3600 hours added to the whatever hours it had before. I ran this drive near 24/7 and its still good. I had this drive for about 4 months. It's a silent drive, a contrast to the exos that I bought before. So if you don't like the rumble and ear piercing screech of a seagate, this drive is for you. I'm not saying all exos drives are bad since I have a 2+ year old recertified drive with 12k hours on it. Last hard drive I bought it from goharddrive, this one as well I selected goharddrive as the seller. This is important since they have a 5 year warranty and good customer service.
