While on the bed these pillows look like they're blown full of air because they stand so tall; just saying they are plenty full of down and do not squish much during the night. I alternate sleeping on my stomach and side, and these pillows are fine. I know over time down will lose some fluff (my old set did/pretty flat now) so the 550 fill is very good now, although a bit more firm than I wanted but that's OK. They'll break in a bit over time. These are full and after you push your hand into the pillow, it bounces back well. They are covered in a good amount of material so I expect they'll last. These were not cheap, and I'm still annoyed these did not match what I ordered; something odd going on, that these are being sold under different names, can't find the manufactures online anywhere, web pages do t match what I ordered.....
