I got it because I am pregnant and wanted a chair to nurse in. My biggest piece of advice is get this chair early! Don’t wait until you are further along to purchase. It is comfortable, the recline is perfect, it’s electric up AND down so you don’t need to push the foot rest with your foot and it’s very quiet. I have already slept in it (thank you heartburn) and try to keep my feet up as often as possible to reduce swelling. This chair is EVERYTHING I wanted in a glider/recliner without the huge price tag of the other electric chair on all of the “best of” lists.It is super easy to assemble but it IS heavy so you will need help getting it in the house. It needs to be plugged in to recline (and charge your phone) and it will not glide/rock once it is reclined. Easy to assemble and comfortable. Delivered in two pieces, base and backrest. I was able to carry up to 2nd floor by myself but 2 people recommended for the base. I was able to unpack, assemble, and was ready in about 20 minutes. Very happy with the quality and would order again. Swivel is smooth and motor for the recline is very quiet. We waited 8 weeks for a different chair from a local furniture store but kept getting backordered. We are glad we canceled and chose this Westwood chair. Momma is happy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great All Around Chair! *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2018* This is a great all around chair which does it all! It's very comfortable. It swivels 180*, it glides, very smooth and quiet, and it's a power recliner. (I believe it's also available as a manual recliner) It is not a wall-hugger, so it needs to be at least 18" away from wall if you want to recline all the way back. I have mine in the corner of a room, so it's not an issue. All the way back reclining position is almost flat, so makes a great sleeper. You can stop the power at various positions, so you have a multitude of positions to choose from to recline. When the power button is pushed, the seat and footrest recline first. When the footrest is at its highest position, then the back continues to recline to its flattest position. You can stop the power button anytime by releasing it and so the chair stops at any reclining position you desire. (Not sure how the manual positions work) It's relatively small so fits well in a bedroom or small space. However, to use as a recliner it's made for a smaller/shorter person. My husband is 6' and it's comfortable for him as a chair and comfortable to glide for short period of time, but he doesn't like that the back is not tall enough for him to lean his head on. In addition, his feet hang way off the footrest and head are not comfortable to recline for a long period of time. I'm a 5' female and it fits me perfect, even tough my feet do hang out a bit when chair is reclined at a medium position, but not uncomfortable. As a chair and glider my feet touch the floor enough and comfortable to push off and glide. I also use a small throw pillow for my back, but I have to use a pillow on almost any chair I sit in. If you wear bifocals or progressive lenses, the way the back is made you may have to adjust your glasses down if watching tv from a reclining position, or place a small pillow behind your head. It can swivel when reclined, with a little push off a side table, but it does not glide when reclined. The color is not blue grey as it looks on the screen. More of a warm grey/camel color. It comes very well packed with protective foam type cover. It comes in 2 pieces...the back and the seat/base. Easy to put together. The back just slides/snaps into the seat/base. This would be a perfect nursery chair. I totally recommend it. I'm very happy with it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is cosmetic. My chair has a pucker in the material in one of the corners of the back. In addition, the piping on the front of the chair seat, over the foot rest, was not sewn on straight and the material on that section wasn't pulled tight enough so it has small waves in the front. (See photos) However, Amazon was very generous.
