Perhaps a little too long, because I gave it a good thwack and it hasn’t stopped since. It’s been weeks. The soft sound of its bearings keep me up at night. My biggest concern is what happens if it tips over? Will it stop? Who knows how powerful it’s gotten? Perhaps it will go through the floor, into the ground, digging deeper and deeper. How powerful is it? I’m too scared to check. It could be reversing the rotation of the earth at this very moment for all I know. I have created a monster. I can’t live like this.
