This 100% natural cork is an excellent soundproofing material, made of selected raw material originating from 100 years old self-sustaining and renewable Portuguese cork-oak trees. The manufacturing process only uses cork and steam, with no other additives. The panels can be placed on the inner layers of walls, ceilings or floors or the outer layer as a final finishing touch. The material is simply beautiful and exotic, while also effective in eliminating unwanted sound and vibration. Control noise like never before with this sustainable acoustic material! The density is controlled at 6.87 lbs./f3, with a varying thickness between 0.8 in and 4 in. Dimensional tolerances of +/- 2mm are well within industrial standards for a 100% natural material.
