Worth every penny. I love it!
I’ve been using a Zagg Slimbook keyboard with my iPad mini for several years. I use my iPad and keyboard a lot; it’s very nearly a replacement for a laptop for me. I use it every day, sometimes for several hours every day.I bought a new iPad Pro and almost just bought a new Zagg Slimbook because I had loved my first one so much. I was very reluctant to try any other brand, because I doubted it would live up to the Zagg. I actually had the Zagg Slimbook in my Amazon cart, but kept finding myself going back to look at this one. It was the color, I admit, because it matched my new rose gold color iPad Pro. I got seduced by the color of this one. Of course, I read some reviews first. The reviews all seemed good enough, so I decided to try it, on the assumption I would simply return it if I didn’t like it as well as the Zagg. And to tell the truth, I didn’t expect to like it as much, so I kind of expected I would return it.I can’t believe it, but I love it even MORE than the Zagg. The feel of the keys while I type is perfect for me; just enough mechanical action to get the sensory feedback I need to type really fast, but no noise to speak of. (I’m a touch typist and type something like 85 WPM.). And, of course, since my iPad Pro 10.5 inch is bigger than my previous iPad mini, this keyboard is a bit bigger, so the keys are all more correctly spaced. I guesstimate it’s about 95% of the size of the full-size keyboard on my laptop. I’m pretty sure I’m typing faster on this keyboard than I was on the Zagg that I loved so much.Pairing was painless and fast. (Although the first time I turned off the Bluetooth and turned it on again, I had to re-pair. Hope that doesn’t continue to happen. I’ve only turned it off the one time since I’ve had it.)I’ve only had this a little more than 48 hours, but I’ve been using it a lot (worked almost all weekend) and it’s lived up to every expectation.I also love that you can change the color of the backlighting (the purple is my favorite so far) and that the backlighting has 3 brightness levels. One small complaint is that the right Shift key isn’t exactly where I expect it to be. The up arrow key is where I expect the shift to be. Apparently this is the case on many portable keyboards (although that was not true of my Zagg keyboard. It was in the expected spot on that one.). So I sometimes found myself getting sent back to the beginning of the document (because I accidentally hit the up arrow instead of the shift key.). That happened quite a lot at the beginning and it was frustrating. But I’ve adjusted fairly quickly and am now typing just as quickly as always and hitting the shift key accurately now. It’s a little heavier than I would have preferred, although that may simply be because it’s bigger than my previous Zagg. I didn’t compare the weight of this one to the weight of the Zagg for this size iPad. But for me, this small difference in weight is a minor inconvenience. I’m not carrying it around all that often. The only other place it falls a little short of the Zagg Slimbook is that the case part of the Zagg can be detached from the keyboard so you can carry around just the iPad without the keyboard, but still in a case. This case doesn’t detach from the keyboard, so if you want to use the iPad without the keyboard, you’d have to take it out and it would not be in a case. Again, for me, this isn’t a problem. I never did that with the Zagg; I just don’t use my iPad that way. I use it like a laptop. But I can see how this might be a problem for some people.I really love this keyboard. As long as you understand all the pros and cons as described above, don’t hesitate to buy it. It’s less expensive than the Zagg, and for me, it’s actually better. (But if you can’t live with the above cons, the Zagg Slimbook is a really, really good option, too. I loved that one a lot. It’s ONLY downside was the tiny size, but that was for my iPad mini, so I assume the one for the iPad Pro would be larger, like this one. It has reasonably good action on the keys, it’s a bit lighter (I assume), and as mentioned, you can detach the case from the keyboard. And the shift key is where you expect it to be.)FYI - I did NOT receive any kind of compensation for this review (no free product, etc.). It’s my completely independent review.

Compact and Functional!
Item fit my mini iPad 6 perfectly. Instructions were in Chinese but I YouTube and easily found videos on how to set up and pair the wireless Bluetooth keyboard with my iPad. Paring was quick and simple. On button on keyboard, go to Settings on iPad, Bluetooth, pair with keyboard, turn on connect button on keyboard, and you’re set! Very light weight and sturdy. The only thing I don’t love is that once in a while a key will get jammed so I’d have to press on it two or three times. But that doesn’t happen too often. So overall, I still really like this item and find it helpful for my school work.

Whole new ball game!
I absolutely love this case. It's 1000x better than having a separate bluetooth keyboard. It's intelligent in that it connects to my iPad as soon as I turn my iPad on. LOVE the swivel capability a ton! Definitely sturdy, which I was worried about when purchasing. It's met and exceeded most of my expectations. That said, some things to note... it's HEAVY! It makes grabbing my iPad for a quick task a little harder, and I sometimes need 2 hands to pick it up, depending on angle. It's hard also to get my fingers into the groove to open the case when fully closed, and I have to really work them in and then push to get the case open. I'm a woman with small hands, so can't imagine a dude. Maybe this will give with time. The battery dies fairly quickly, and I find myself having to charge it more than I like, and that's likely due to the instant bluetooth connection. I don't always use the keypad, and I forget to turn it off. I also wish I didn't have to turn off the touchpad every single time. I don't use it, and would love the option for it to not automatically turn on - just a pain. A separate charging cord also sucks (I have enough of them to manage) - would love to just be able to charge the case while charging the iPad simultaneously or at least be able to use the same iPad cord I already have nearby. Lastly the placement of the pencil holder is in a bad spot, I think. When I want to hold my iPad like a regular iPad (not using keyboard) with the home button at bottom of screen, the pencil is at the bottom, so it gets squished against my lap or resting place, and I fear it's adding pressure to the pencil cap and nib (older model). Just wish it were at the top or side. Also I don't like sliding the pencil into and out of the fabric holder, which I also fear will snag on the usb cap. Would have much preferred clips. Still, any inconveniences are minor compared to the benefits. This has made my iPad more like a computer, super useful for on the go. Thanks for a great product! Oh, and I got the rose gold, which turned out to be a lovely color - it's not pink - pretty much a spot on match for the iPad rose gold. Looks legit metallic and classy.

Backlit function not operating.
although the detail specifications show the backlit function availability the same is not found on the keyboard. The model was selected after studying the details specifications so wee needs immediate attention of the manufacturer to guide us to make backlit function operational.

Arrived really promptly
For the money it does the job but there's a reason why the apple equivalent costs twice the price -- it feels very plastic-y and cheap but again, for the price, it does the job
