Despite the top notes of jasmine, the base note of patchouli tends to overpower the rest. Patchouli isn't my favorite fragrance, so I was hoping it would be a little more subtle. The result is a musky, earthy, woody-scented cologne that evens out to a woody-floral mix after a while. It was pretty strong when I first sprayed it, and it lasted a fairly long time. For this price, it's a pretty large size bottle, which represents a great value.
