I walk hills everyday. Plus lots of hiking on the weekend.Probably like most people looking to purchase these insoles, I have plantar fasciitis.I have now purchased 3 different brands. Nazaroo, Superfeet and Tread Labs. Each has their plus and minuses. 2 out of 3 squeak because the plastic arch base is not fully glued to the insole. So the rubberized material rubs against the plastic arch base.None of them had a real "cushy" feel to them. Lets be honest here. You can NOT expect a custom fit for 14-25 dollars, now with that said/written. I bought these for my boyfriend. He has very flat feet. Both, his podiatrist and his physical therapist have told him that he has the flattest feet they'd ever seen. He Usually wears custom orthotics but, as you may well know, THAT gets very expensive fast. He kept switching his orthotics from shoe to shoe depending on whether he was going to work, play softball or just go shopping with me. We were both skeptical about these but decided to try them. He loves them. He said theyr'e great for the price. We don't know how long they will last, but we ordered another pair just in case. My boyfriend describes them as comfortable and a big help in keeping his foot/feet pain to a minimum. I would strongly recommend these to anyone, keeping in mind however, that they are not 150-350 dollar orthotics. Hope this helps.
