It was well worth the money. Shaving sharp out of the box. But there are a couple issues. The leather pouch it comes with has to be worked with to fit it, you really need to shove it down in there to button it. There is a small imperfection at the very tip that can be worked out though honing/sharpening. The main issue I have is that I NEED to use the leather pouch, because the knife has a habit of just... opening. That's pretty dangerous, and the reason I got a pocket knife and not a fixed blade was to put it in my pocket. Now I have all the negatives of a pocket knife with none of the positives.
