This is much slimmer than what I had before, but still allows me to fit 3 capsules that are each approximately 19mm long. This fits on my key ring without being too bulky in my pocket. Overall the quality of the materials and machining/build are much better than what I had before. This feels very solid and it appears to be built to last a long time (and is backed by a lifetime guarantee). This costs three times the price of the cheaper one I had before, but well worth it based on the quality. One other note to watch out for with the cheaper pill fobs. The one I had before this one would get a light 'dust' coating on pills that were kept inside. Maybe it was the aluminum dust from the stripped threads or maybe something else. I washed and dried out the old one several times but still kept coming back - obviously not something you want to ingest with your medication. The GUS pill fob does not have this issue. I can keep 2 days of blood pressure medication in it, on my keychain. It is Very sturdy, well made, and pills have kept well in them with no moisture or breakdown. It holds 2 clonodine, 2 metoprolol, 2 norvasc and one diovan (all of these are small pills, smaller than an aspirin, except for the diovan which is about the size of a large multivitamin). I'll be purchasing the larger GUS hoping it will fit an extra diovan to give me 2 full days worth of meds.
