Whatever I plant, want to come back every year. Would this work? if not, then what?** A: Greetings, yes the black eyed susan will enjoy the sun! Sow when temp’s reach 70’s in loose well drained soil ( not poor) keep seeds moist. Shasta daisy will do well also in the sun. Both will come back every year if cared for....second year they will perform more blooms then the first year on both flowers. **Q: My plants are starting to blossom, but the flowers are green, is this normal?** A: I planted mine in April and no taller than three inches. Interesting mix of varieties. *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2020* These seeds germinate very easily. I didn't even refrigerate them, just started them in egg cartons and they sprouted in less than a week. There are at least 3 or 4 varieties in these seeds, the fastest growing plants have leaves that get as large as my hand. The second variety grows slower and doesn't branch as much. Finally, the third variety is very delicate and doesn't have the fuzzy coating other plants have. This makes them more susceptible to rabbits or chipmunks. The really odd thing about the delicate variety is that the flowers become top heavy and flop over right after they bloom. They will continue to bloom, even when they're upside down though. (See second picture.)
