At 5' 6" in height, weighing 160 to 155 lbs, shirt sizing has always been a guessing game process regarding the made-in-the-Far-East items. Sometimes small is just right while medium is too large. Sometimes the opposite is true. For these shirts, the medium size fits the best. I prefer light-weight, synthetic T-shirts, as apposed to 100% cotton, for wearing in hot, humid weather. After washing them, they held together in the washer, didn't shrink and dried quickly when hung on a line. I tested one on hot, sticky 1-hour walk in our woodlot and was pleased with the results. They should perform well for bike-riding, canoeing, tent camping and weight-lifting as well. As to whether or not these tees will prove to be as durable as my other, years old T-shirts remains to be seen. In any case, at these prices, I am going to order more. Final note: these shirts fit like a second skin. They will emphasize and enhance your upper body assets.
