Q: Can this be used on acoustic guitars with nylon strings?

Absolutely not. This is a magnetic pickup, the same sort that's used in electric guitars, and requires steel strings. (Bronze wound strings work fine as well, though.) For nylon string guitars, you want to look for a piezo-based pickup.

I dont know as I bought it for my accoustic guitar....my advise would be to send the company that sell it on Amazon a message and ask them.

Yes, but I wouldn't buy it in the first place as it is so easily breakable. Mine stopped working after ten days for no reason!
