## Description

Milled cotton cloth for newborns Our bicycle grip tape is made in the USA from very durable milled cotton. We use environmentally friendly dyes for a lower impact on the environment. Cotton is more sustainable than petroleum-based foam and polyurethane used in other bands. Newbaum's fabric tape is the ultimate tape for the most discerning cyclists who want the look and feel of the old school. We think you'll love the tactile feel of woven cotton over every synthetic ribbon on the market. The narrower diameter allows for more precise wrapping on the brake lever with minimal bulk or deformation of the bonnets. Lyra Hoop and trapeze artists have also discovered our cotton tape as a comfortable, non-adhesive alternative to sports tape for wrapping their gear. Finishing tips: It can be coated with shellac to make it weatherproof. Amber shellac can be used to add an earthy tone to the color of the foil. Clear shellac can also be used. Instructions for peeling and packaging can be found online End strip and end caps are not included. Tape ends can be attached with electrical tape or cord. The handlebar end side can be secured by a handlebar plug or wine cork. Rolls are sold individually unless otherwise stated.

I've used this before, it does fade over time, which is nice in my opinion. And it does fray over time. But it's cotton and feels nice, doesn't make my hands sweat or smell on long rides, looks decent, easy to put on.

Two rolls of this worked very nicely to cover one road bike's handlebars, with not a lot to spare. Adhesive strip on the back, which I didn't expect. Once down, I coated it twice with amber shellac. The result darkened the red a lot for a very dark, classy result -- like what I imagine you'd find on the steering wheel of a classic Jaguar, or perhaps something out of the Wright Brother's original bike shop. (Next time I might try the clear shellac.)
