Glass topped table with a safety backing, so if you do break it, it wouldn't shatter.Only thing with it being solid glass, the water doesn't run off, so it has to be wiped.Mine stood out all winter 17/18 and no harm came to it. The chairs we put in the shed.The chairs are really comfortable and recline nearly flat.Great for the price. ### ⭐⭐ Arrived scratched *by C***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 July 2019* Although the basic quality was very good the whole set did arrive in one large carton weighing 41 kgs .The carton was quite battered and torn and I had to help the delivery driver carry it out of his van.The basic design and quality was good but it was disappointing to find a gouged mark in one of the chair arms and the glass table top had two small white scratches. As these were on the underside of the table glass it must have occured during manufacture and being black glass they were noticable.Normally I would have returned the whole set but as it was a present for my daughter who was made up with it, she wasnt bothered about the small damages.
