Of course not, but it does not feel cheap at all especially at this price point. Function wise, the operation is easy to understand even for my 14 years old, then it should be no problem for any adult. The only drawback is you have to use touch screen to switch camcorder mode and camera mode and the icon on the screen is so tiny for my fat finger other than that, I think it's a perfect camcorder for any teenager.
