The first one was purchased through REI and I thought this would be exactly the same. The quality is not quite - I guess you get what you pay for. The case is a really flimsy quality and you cannot carry it like a backpack like my other one. Ok - whatever. But then when we went to go out on the lake one of the side bladders kept leaking. We realized the air valve was not threaded correctly (a defective part). But then later when I went to explore the problem more I realized that the bladder itself was punctured inside the kayak. The kayak was defective. I contacted desertcart/the company to return it on Friday 3/13 and haven't heard anything back 6 days later. Overall I really love this kayak. It is sturdy, easy to transport, and very stable. But either this version of it or what was sent to me was defective, and I'm not hearing from the company on how to return it. I would not order it from desertcart or this company. Update: I don't know if desertcart is bad at sending info to the seller, or it is my user error, but eventually the seller contacted me and told me the kayak is under warranty through Aquaglide.
