AMES 2463875 Easy Roller Poly Lawn and Garden Cart with Integrated Tool Tray, 4-Cubic Foot Capacity

Last along time & very durable. My first one lasted over 10 years. You can carry garden needs on it.

The cart is lightweight, but sturdy. I use it to transport mulch and compost around the yard. The wheels are plastic, but strong. There is a handy tray with holes in the bottom to hold tools when not in use. The center of gravity over the front wheels makes it easy to dump out loads.Although there was nothing to assemble and the cart arrived ready to use, it did not arrive packaged soundly inside the manufacturer's box, but was packaged by Amazon. Amazon's packaging consisted of two extremely flimsy cardboard boxes taped together loosely in a sort of freeform fashion. There was a bit of unwadded, brown wrapping paper tossed inside the cart, apparently for appearances sake, or perhaps as a sort of stylized commentary on shipment padding. The paper might have been intended as padding, but it seemed more likely that someone in the warehouse had used the cart as a rubbish bin at one point and the person who "boxed" it so creatively thought the rubbish equated padding and so left it in place. In any case, the "box" arrived entirely in tatters (to the extreme embarrassment of the UPS driver, who apologized profusely), and the sides of the cart, once straight, were concave on arrival. The plastic was not cracked, however, and I opted to keep the cart and expect the sides would pop out eventually under a heavy load, rather than return the cart for exchange and risk the same artistic person packaging the replacement. (The paper padding/rubbish, on the other hand, arrived in pristine condition, as it had had quite a bit of room in the cart to escape crushing by whatever force had caved in the cart's sides.)Bottom line: The cart is a good, sturdy yard tool and I am glad I bought it. I would not have passed on the cart had I known in advance the extreme angst it would cause the packaging department working out shipping logistics, and the resulting condition in which it would arrive at my door, but I would have contacted Amazon prior to ordering to ask if it would be possible to specify the packaging when placing the order. If the answer to that query had been "no," then I would have given it a pass and purchased the cart elsewhere.

This little wagon and seat is exactly what I need to haul essential garden tools, container of fertilizer, gloves..and/or a few plants and bulbs, even a 30 lb bag of potting soil can be hauled in it. I can roll it easily from garage around to the back yard. Our grass is short Bermuda, so it rolls across it with ease. I am 76 and have lifted it with ease over a brick border into a deep bed so that I could sit to dig and plant. I no longer have to get down on my knees and crawl or stand and bend over to work. The lid does not seal as their is an opening by the handle, so it can't be left out in rain, but that is not a big issue. I've left it on the patio overnight when there was no threat of rain, but usually put it back in the garage.

Love my cart, the wheels are bigger than the last one I had, and it sits taller. I am glad I bought it.

Ugly brown is the first drawback, and lack of full closure against elements is the other. I put a sterilite snap container inside to hold my rust-able tools.but those are the only real complaints. This is sturdy, wide, much larger than some that close completely, which seem toy-like. This is NOT toy-like, though it has a very similar construction to the children's play houses by a certain brand. It is very trustworthy and NOT flimsy. You can lift the top and pull it around with the handle - -this is why it can't close against water -- the handle is the seat. 200 lbs can sit comfortably and I think safely on it. It does NOT swivel, and really, why would one expect this to swivel? It is what it is, a container for supplies and plants and tools, a seat that will move, a little wagon to drag around, and not a tractor! If you want swivels, you're going to expect to pay much more. This has steel axles I believe, and the wheels are beefy and easy to turn.Nice little cart, just get a snapware container to keep inside it to seal your tools and gloves against moisture.

I ordered this cart to haul wood from the front porch through the house to the wood burner. It is the perfect size to go through all doors. It maneuvers very easy, is super sturdy, holds a lot of wood, keeps the dirt & bark off the floor, I also use it to haul in groceries from the car and will use it in the summer for basic lawn work. You can't go wrong in getting this cart! I will always have one.

Bot this as a replacement for my identical more than 10 year old work horse. It costs now about twice as much as as it cost then, but it is a very versatile tool. I used it over the years to make concrete in it, to carry yard tools and dirt and gravel and mulch and twigs and leaves and what not.The plastic wheels give way after a while, but they can be replaced. I believe that the original front wheels lasted me only about 3-4 years, but I replaced them with a pair of metal ones which are still ok, but the body started to give way. I used this with heavy loads over rough terrain. Of course, I was careful with it, but that does not mean that I did not stress it a lot. It held up pretty well given its apparent build and by having 4 wheels rather than 1 it makes it possible for people with frail backs like myself to use it. I saw a better, professional version with 2 large wheels, but that was at about 3 times the price of this.

This is the second one I've gotten. I keep my tools in them and always have them at the ready if needed. Keeps me from having to sit on the ground or bending over to pull weeds or dig in the garden. I highly recommend this product.
