Lots of power, chops, blends, emulsifies, whatever you want. Very ease to clean! Just add a tiny drop of dish detergent and turn it on for a minute or so - done! I've used it to make beet juice. I cut the beets rather small, since beets are so dense. Add green apple, lemon, ginger root and English cuke - delicious! I also strain the pulp. ### ⭐ Unreliable, both blender and pitcher. Vitamix is better *by D***A on December 6, 2020* I loved and was very happy with this blender initially, but after a year of using it I started having issues with the blender. The motor is defective. Every time I start it up it trips the breaker after a few seconds. Same issue with an empty jar. I had issues with the pitcher in May, the blade was coming off when I blend anything in it. At first the tighten the blade and sent it back to me, despite the fact that there was a problem with the blade itself that the manufacturer had updated the older version. I had to call them again, complain about the issue then only they sent me a brand new pitcher right after I lost my temper. Now the blender itself is failing. Not a reliable company and service. I think they are too new in this business. No good customer support. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plenty of power, but with an insufficient user guide *by N***E on November 24, 2018* I've been a longtime Vitamix user, but I decided to try this because I was intrigued by the Dynapro's antioxidation feature. If you are planning to purchase a high-end blender, here are some points to consider, both pros and cons, when it comes to the Dynapro:On the pro side:* This is a powerful blender. Like a Vitamix or Blendtec, this will make light work of pulverizing ice into a smoothie. It is so powerful, in fact, that it is rated for home AND commercial use (my Vitamix is not).* The vacuum feature is easy to use. This blender comes with a battery powered vacuum as well as a hand operated vacuum. I have only used the battery powered vacuum so far, but I have found it simple and effective. The idea is that you remove excess air before actually blending. Just place the vacuum on top of the pitcher lid, press the button, and wait 30 seconds. After removing the vacuum, the pitcher stays sealed due to a rubber cap on the top, and a rubber seal around the sides of the lid. Even after blending, the seal is nicely maintained. A vacuum-blended beverage is, by many measures, different from a non-vacuum-blended beverage: less foam, fewer bubbles, a richer color is maintained if you don't drink the beverage right away, and it apparently provides better nutrition. There are some disadvantages to vacuum-blending. For example, you can't stir/tamper the beverage part way through the blending process because the seal will be lost. You should research on your own the relative advantages of vacuum-blending. Depending on how you plan to use the blender, you may or may not find the vacuum feature worth it.* It has a lot of blending "modes" including a manual mode (where you can adjust the blender speed while blending), automatic mode (press a button and you get 30 seconds of blending), pulse mode, and more. This is where my Dynapro is much better than my older Vitamix, which really has no modes...just an adjustable speed.* It carries an impressive 15-year warranty for home use (versus 7 or 8 years for Vitamix and Blendtec, respectively). Note that if used for commercial purposes, the warranty is reduced to 3 years. I have not yet had any problems with my Dynapro, so I cannot speak to their customer service.On the con side:* My biggest complaint: with all the modes on this Dynapro, there really should be some instructions on how/when to use them. If you are already a smoothie expert (I'm not), then perhaps you will know when it's best to pulse, best to blend, and best to vary the speed. But the manual is really no help here. It explains what each button does, but then I am on my own to figure out if/when to use each button. By contrast, my Vitamix came with a recipe book and a lot of step-by-step guides on how best to use it.* Not a complaint, but perhaps a deal breaker for some: this is a very large blender. The base, in particular, is considerably larger than any blender I have owned. I am faced with two choices: keep it on the counter all the time (where it takes up valuable kitchen real estate), or keep it stored somewhere. If I store it, I am less likely to use it, so I have settled for keeping it on the counter, but it is now the largest "small appliance" in my kitchen, with a square base measuring 9 inches on each side, and a height of 8.5 inches (before putting the blender on top). Take some measurements in your kitchen before ordering, so that you know just how much space this blender will take up.All in all, it is a great blender. I think it can do more than I realize, but since it lacks any helpful recipe guides, I am on my own to learn by trial and error. If you are a blender/smoothie/slushy pro, then perhaps the lack of such a guide won't matter to you.
