    It is always exciting for me to find a new title to add to my top 10 list of quilting books. When I received my copy of Batik Quilts: Best of Fons & Porter my list finally made it to four titles. I have many books with one or two great patterns and/or tips and techniques. Fons & Porter's newest book is a must have. As I looked through the patterns there was only one or two I did not want to try. It is laid out beautifully and instructions are clear and easy to follow.  I have been a avid quilter for the past 10 + years and often design my own patterns. This book gives me many new techniques to explore and incorporate in to my own work. I was inspired!
