I was so excited, that we (the dog and I) opened it at work. Otie, my dog, got in it and didn't want to get out. It seems a little small to me as he cannot turn around in it if it's closed. He's only 6 1/2 lbs, but he's got long legs for a chihuahua. However, he loves and does seem comfortable. It will definitely work for the airline and has decent storage. The last bag we had, had more storage but was also bulkier. AND if you used the storage to the max, the inside of the bag would cave in a little. Perfect! Fits perfectly between our 2 pillows and does not get moved or bumped. She sleeps all night now! 😍. Plenty of mesh for her to breathe. I actually cover the top with a light weight baby blanket because we sleep with 2 fans on and don’t want her to get cold. Not sure it would be sturdy enough for travel, especially if the pup was much heavier.
