I like that I can use disinfectant wipes on it after sitting it on the ground, taking it on planes, public bathrooms, etc. It's a nice size and decently made but I do wish the straps were a bit sturdier and sewn on better. The stitching does not go all the way to the edge of the bag so tearing will happen sooner than later, esp if you load it up like I do. But for the price, it's a great tote. It holds a lot and has an inner pocket for phone. The color is pretty but it's NOT purple as it appears online. It's more of a mulberry or a dull plum. Darker than mauve, but not enough pink to be called fuchsia. It's much more narrow and less deep than I expected, but that's really on me. I'm not one of those folks who heavily complain when you spend only $11 on a nice bag. Even Walmart would have it for $20.It will not hold your overnight clothes (unless you are incredibly small), but maybe a swimsuit, makeup and a book or two. Just a few things.I will warn that this is made in China. That is a pet peeve of mine. I wish Amazon would clearly state the country of origin. Full disclosure is necessary.Anyway, it's great for a teen or just to carry some files, or whatever.All in all, I still give it 4 stars for the surprising condition its in. The color is exactly as advertised, a beautiful lilac, however, the inside is this soft fabric that has textured ripples in it. Almost like panty hose and it will be easy to snag with more use. The bag also has an odd, industrial/chemical smell - I noticed it after unboxing. Accidentally spilled some take out food in the bag and turned it inside out and gave it a wash on the gentle/light cycle before air drying. Bag came out just fine, no stains on the inside of the fabric, or on the outside, and the chemical smell is pretty much gone now.
