All of the zippers functioned easily except at the comers where the seams rolled up. I hope this will correct itself over time and use since the bag was tightly compressed and some of the seams where miss-shapen by the packaging and compression. The material is a very heavy cloth and I would compare it a luggage grade material. It appears that it will last a long time with normal use. A nice touch was the American flag that is velcroed to the side of the bag. Also, the hidden compartment with a water bottle holder looks to be handy as well. This Fishing Tackle Bag could easily be used for many other things , just not fishing gear. It would make a nice travel bag, cpap bag, solar power supply...etc. Very versatile bag with lots of possibilities. Overall, I'm very please with this bag, regardless of the missing shoulder strap.
