A: I redo it about every six months, satin shine lasts.

**Q: Is this water based?**
A: Yes, no sticky or gummy reside, may have some white liquid puddling, wipes right up, looks like custom meticulous but just spray wet clean cool engine, shut hood.

**Q: Can it be used on tires or interior?**
A: Probably but not formulated for that even though heat resistant better choice would be interior designedproduct.

**Q: How many engine bays can this cover?**
A: Can't say for sure, but many. I'd guess about 15-20. It really doesn't take much. For sure one of the products that is worth having. Well worth it's price.
