I doubt it and why would you want to?? **Q: I've played with the gasket/seal and can't get it to stay in place - it wants to drop out of the top as soon as I unscrew the lid. What's the secret?** A: I've given up on how to keep it in place. In fact, I find it useful that it doesn't stay because I can keep the metal top clean of leftover syrup easier. I was surprised how small it is. Will have to be filling it often. It is adorable though and I'm looking forward to using it with syrup for my pancakes Update August 7th, 2013, After using this little dispenser for a few weeks, I decided it was just too small for syrup. It has to be filled too often. I've decided to order the 14 oz. and will add my review on that one after I receive it.
