Mehano locomotives have always been great pullers, at least the ones I have owned till date. Their units may lack some in-depth attention to detail, but given their low cost, they are the truly excellent. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Not Digital *by R***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 March 2016* ok this item states a good way to get into the digital world ,well if you are looking for a digital train set this is not its dc operate only ,plus no provision in the loco for a digital chip, also amazon state don't forget to claim your free adaptor to operate the train set ,well after numerous amounts of trying to put the code that they gave me to enter for the free adaptor I gave up it would not accept the code , so I had to order the adaptor and pay otherwise I would not be able to operate the train set ,now I will come on to the set itself ,well the package it came in smelled of a damp musty smell like the item was probably stored away in damp conditions , also the track supplied with the set was dirty and pitted again probably due to storage conditions ,The loco itself was weighted ok but not the 2 carriages and dummy end which where so light that they flew off the track at high speed that was after I had cleaned the track first before operating ,so I took the dummy end and 2 carriages apart and glued some weights in these which solved the problem of it flying off the track ,also there is no interior detail in the loco no seats in the carriages and the dummy ,also no working lights , so a close up look did not look good ,so I also blacked the windows out so you could not see the interiors , so after all this work on it by me will probably sell this set , all in all not as described about digital so disappointment for me , so be warned not digital and no free adaptor which you do need otherwise you wont be able to operate this set . ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Needs work to run right. *by F***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 July 2020* Nice enough trainset. Needs a bit of work to get it running right without derailing: a bit of filing of the corridor connections, and then lubrication of the motor drive shafts and the train will run well.
