I have been browsing /r/AutoDetailing a lot and reading around on the internet to see which one to get. I have been using spray waxes like, Ice Turtle, Optimum Car Wax, and Meguiar's D156. I thought to myself I should probably put a good protective and harder layer below the wax as it is recommended by many.This stuff is very easy to apply, and I love how a little goes a long way here. I do cheat and use about two spritz a panel instead of the one, but I made sure to watch a lot of YouTube videos from OPT to apply it correctly.The pictures are after using ONRWW diluted normally with a gallon of water and Garry Dean method for cleaning. Then used Opti Seal as a drying aid. Then applied a second later on the hood, windshield, roof, rear windshield, and top of the trunk. Then several layers of Ice Turtle Spray Wax (Leftover as I am now using D156 from now on).I would highly recommend! As a college student living with his parents in an apartment, this stuff is very economical. ### ⭐ It's ok. One is Casablanca White pearl color, which this product softens the "glittery" look. The other is a silver pine metallic color which this product did nothing in regards to look. (I did a side-by-side comparison, front door panels with Opti-Seal vs rear door panel with no Opti-Seal in various settings.) Maybe there was a better formulation of this product in the past? Or maybe it's all hype. The Opti-Seal I received is like spreading a ultra thin layer of petroleum jelly on the paint.Easy to apply? 100% trueGloss? Nope. This product does not create gloss. Carnauba wax creates gloss. I even apply to my cell phone which works great, but still no gloss.Applied on glass? Why would anyone want to do that, because there are much better products specifically for glass. This product leaves wiper streaks and didn't last a week on glass.Durable? At two applications on both vehicles, after three months, the durability seems to be an inverse curve with probably 30% life left. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to apply and produces great results. *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2019* I tried this on two vehicles. One a grey 2017 Lexus. This application produced a very nice shine as good as the premium wax I used to use on this vehicle. The car didn’t require any prep other than a good wash and dry. I double coated most of the car. I wasn’t too impressed until I saw the car the next day. It was very slick to touch and had a very nice premium waxed look.The next vehicle was a white 2006 Toyota that spent all its life in the hot Florida sun. I had previously polished the paint so a good wash and dry is all I did before applying. The water just rolls off now and the look is amazing for a 13+ year old vehicle. It took two to three coats but well worth it. I still haven’t used half the bottle yet.No regrets buying this.
