Derby House Elite Fly Stopper Rug with Belly Flap

My elderly warmblood/Irish gelding is very sensitive to horseflies so I wanted plenty of coverage. This product fitted the bill but would have liked wider shoulder piece to go round to fit chest without any straining of the material or gaps at the buckles. Light material which is suitable for warm weather but which may not resist tearing but as at a reasonable price, I could budget to replace or repair.

Lovely rug and fits my wide welsh cob very well. Unfortunately the neck isn’t stitched on straight so the silky mane saver part isn’t where is should be. I avoid neck covers so will end up chopping it off so didn’t bother returning it for one that want faulty. The leg straps I removed and used a fillet string instead as I felt they didn’t sit right for my pony. Apart from the fault it seems to be a tough well made rug so far.

Good value fly rug, with excellent coverage. Generous tail flap.Strong Velcro belly fastening. Would have liked a little more overlap across the chest, but otherwise perfect.

Very impressed with this anti fly rug excellent fit & quality, also lovely reflective fabric which is excellent for our dark horse, first time we have been able to turn her out during the day and in the sun without any fly bites!!

Good fit and stays in place. A really good quality rug that is hardwearing. Good value for money.

The rug fits beautifully and doesn't rub my thin skinned TB.
