But my chihuahua is doing perfectly well on this. When he becomes a bit heavy, I reduce the amount of kibble. I do not leave the kibble out for him to eat at will. Just two meals a day comprising five teaspoons each of kibble moistened in water with a tsp of boiled chicken or a mashed quarter of a boiled egg white. No yolk, only the white. And no treats. Only a yak butter chew which lasts ten to twelve days as he gnaws happily on that.
