I lost 22 lbs by the time I finished. I tried it a second time later in 2019 and did not lose as much weight. I kept all of my weight off until the Covid pandemic hit. It is 2021 and I am about to purchase it again and realized I never gave a review, just a 5 star rating. My review is very long because I want to give a honest and accurate account of MY experience.Let me give you my back story. I am mostly sedentary due to suffering from Fibromyalgia which causes intense chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome and also osteoarthritis in both knees. My right knee is bone on bone and the pain is excruciating. I said this to give you a picture of my non-active lifestyle. I did not exercise at all while using this detox and still lost 22 lbs. HOWEVER, I did follow it very strictly. I cut out sugar all together and ate VERY LITTLE to NO CARBS while on it. (Mostly no carbs) There was NO fast food, fried foods etc. I mainly ate seared chicken breast with vegetables, shrimp with a stir fry and other similar foods that I cooked at home. This was before Covid so I did eat out once or maybe twice at a restaurant, but I didn't deviate from what I was allowed to eat. I also ate a lot of healthy salads (kale kits and I added seared chicken breast) and my own fruit/veggie combo smoothies. (FYI a great substitution for potatoes is cauliflower. I actually love cauliflower mashed potatoes. You can buy this frozen.)I must let you know that once you totally cut sugar out of your diet, you DO NOT crave it. (At least I didn't.) Even after I finished the detox I did not consume sugar for another month. The second you reintroduce it, you will crave it again. I stayed off of sugar for 2 months without cravings and then my birthday cake happened. I still kept the weight off though for over a year. Thankfully I had lost weight before the pandemic and I only gained back the weight I had lost and not additional weight. So basically I will be starting from scratch again.As far as the taste of this product, the first tea is not bad. I will not lie though, the second one with the dandelion is horrible, BUT if you follow this in its entirety you will lose weight. (It was worth it.) I imagine that those who are physically capable of exercising can benefit from it even more and will have even better results.This long review was to help anyone wondering if they should give this a try and to help psyche myself up to do it again.
