The directions on the tube say you can apply it morning or night but I tend to apply it in the evening as part of my skincare routine at night. This means that I'm sleeping with it on for a good few hours. It did help to clear up a few small spots on my face but I do have pretty moderate acne so I was not expecting to work any wonders.
