Functionality is good, material doesn't crease at your stride point, strings tie tight, fabric has some give so no need to break-in, easy to clean. The soles seem as though they may, at some point, try and detach, so buy some Shoe-Goo and youll be alright. Not too slip resistant, nor water resistant in any way so avoid puddles at all costs. These things are gorgeous - but at the end of the day you do get what you pay for. As for me, I'll keep paying for them. These are the shoe equivalent of a gold plated chain. Just enough to make you look good from the right distance, but wont last the distance to keep you looking good for long... Get you some!

Even though I was not able to wear them because the instep height and width would not accommodate my feet, the sneaker was well made and probably best suited to persons with smaller instep less-wide foot width
