If your antennae cable is an "F" connector, you might need yet another cable (like I did )to connect the SMA end to the receiver. Is it the same except for the fittings?** A: No, TV Coax is 75ohm, you need 50ohm coax. RG-214, RG-141, RG-58, RG8X, RG8U all dependent on length, power & susceptibility to interference. What does the device manufacturer recommend. How much power will this device be putting out 15-20 watts? Best bet is probably RG8X with PL-259 Connector which you will then have to probably adapt to SMA or whatever terminal on on the booster & the better the shielding the less interference. **Q: I have a splitter for an antenna to 2 tvs. I need a female to male coax connector to connect to the splitter on one cable. Will these work?** A: No it won’t. If you have a splitter on the cable, then you have two β€œF” type females on the splitter. To attach to the two TV’s, you will need 1 cable for each TV. That cable must be 72 ohm (standard TV cable) with an β€œF” male connector on each end. Attach each cable to the splitter, and then screw them on to your TV’s.
