With one exception, the connections have held up (although I did seal them when I assembled the set) - so wind hasn't hurt them. The white substrate of the flex circuits has yellowed a bit under the sunlight, but doesn't seem to have deteriorated otherwise. And the extremes of heat and cold haven't seemed to affect any of the parts. The LEDs seem to be plenty bright. The only disappointments are that certain colors that I'd like are not programmed into the controllers, and the remotes are a bit unreliable, and require a lot of TLC. After some initial issues with the adhesive strips during assembly, the LED strips have stayed attached with no apparent problems. I did take the precaution of ty-rapping the ends of the strips to their supporting frames - to help avoid them pulling loose due to wind, etc. I've been satisfied so far. ### ⭐⭐ The adhesive SUCKS! *by T***D on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2019* At first I was happy to see the quality of the product. It was well packaged, all the items were in the box, set up appeared to be easy. The lights were bright and looked to be of high quality. I was excited to set them up. I prepared my area, I cleaned the surface with alcohol, I was good to go. The adhesive on the back of the lights was pretty sticky so I had confidence it would hold. I applied the lights to the surface and all was good. I can back an hour later to find they pretty much all came unstuck! This was a bummer since it took me about an hour to set it all up. The lights and remote are good, the adhesive sucks! The adhesive strip actually started coming off the back of the lights. So I reapplied them and another hour later they were back off. I came to the definitive conclusion that they adhesive is a total failure! Rather than going through the entire process of packaging everything back up to get a refund and order more and have the same result I just used rubber cement on the surface and reapplied the led strips. 2 days later and they are still up. So don’t buy these unless you plan on using your own glue to keep them up. I will say this, the lights do look good. Good colors and options on the remote. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Use a hot glue gun for easy installation *by J***X on Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2018* I hung my lights under my kitchen cabinets today and they're absolutely beautiful! However, installation was tricky. The tape on the back of the strip wouldn't stick to anything. Yes, I thoroughly cleaned the area I was to stick the lights to. The tape wouldn't even stick to paper. Definitely not 3M Tape. I broke out my hot glue gun and glued 32 feet of lights under my cabinets. Easy fix. I am VERY delighted with the appearance of my kitchen now.
