The eloquence and detail of the stories are backed up by helpful charts, diagrams and beautiful illustrations. While it's certainly heavy to hold and can be termed as unwieldy, I believe it only makes the book more attractive, since ancient wisdom is often encased inside heavy, unwieldy tomes. But that's just me. All-in-all, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I would like to recommend this book to people who have a deep love for mythology or would like to rope in more people into the realm of Gods, Monsters and Heroes.
