I haven't actually installed mine yet so don't know how well it will work. Not to mention these are not pre drilled for the spikes so I imagine I need to do that. No instructions came with mine. Is one piece $69 or is that for 8?** A: The cost displayed is each, you will need to add at least 8 to cart to meet the minimum order requirements **Q: How does it hold up to a lawnmower or edger cutting the grass around it?** A: Very,.very well. I stayed mine to the ground and occasionally get a little too close on my zero turn...but they take the bumps like a champ and flex back into place. The color has stayed the same and they moved well. I had other borders that didn't move well as they had become very brittle and broke apart at stress points. They are tall enough to allow for enough rubber nuggets to be placed to effectively reduce injury in case of falls.
