They aren't itchy on the inside and have enough lining to keep you decently warm during the winter (just don't go playing in the snow with them)...and that's from someone currently living in RI. The back pockets are nice but they definitely look more like leggings than jeggings. My only problem is that the length is a good 2-3 inches too long for my shorter frame of 5'2" and you can't really roll it up at the ankles because the material it's made out of doesn't make it look right. But as long as you wear boots that can cover the ankle section I think a shorter stature person would be fine. The belly section is very comfortable and fits great.
