Beautiful dark brown color (brown, not redish brown), very soft, the size is as described, easy to put on with the zipper, but they are very, very thin. We have blankets and pillow covers on our couches because of the dogs (dog ripped our old pillow cover), and we don't think they're going to hold up at all.
