It started out quiet. It’s easy to clean. It is small and fit our small area for the cat food and water well. The colors are as pictured and very cute. The filters were not even a bad price and did a good job keeping the water clean.After about 6 months the power source began the vibrate. It became very noisy, but we dealt with it since the pump was working great and our cats love the fountain!After 11 months the pump stopped working. The kitchen was finally quiet again.The Hommii customer service was really great though, they contact you quickly. I was quickly assured a new pump. However between the two groups miscommunication occurred and I thought a new power source would also be mailed. I indicated the noise we dealt with.The parts had to come from China and that part took a long time. Our cats were not happy and drank a lot less water. I thought it would have been faster.Once we received the new pump we could not even use it because we had nothing to plug into.I contacted the seller again and they quickly responded. They sent over a cleaning kit to help compensate for our time. We had already just upgraded to a ceramic model and it was due to be delivered. Our cats needed to increase their water intake and we couldn’t wait to sort it out.Overall this is a good cute unit, but don’t expect it to last long, at least not perfectly quiet. If I had the choice I would have purchased the ceramic model first as it is far superior quality wise. It’s sold by the same company so I assume the same great customer service will be there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it *by H***Y on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2020* Easy to use. Easy to find rrplacent filters for reasonable price and in bulk. Not the easiest thing to clean. Especially the pump itself. IF you keep the water level up and the pump CLEAN it is pretty quiet. Also nice that there are a few options for the set up depending on your animals ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drink for cats *by T***G on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2018* I bought this because my cat insists on drinking from the tap. I was trying to detour that behavior. Others talked about water sliminess. I change my pets water daily. Even though this says every two weeks, I change the water every two days.
