The pellets do leave red marks on the skin, but that soon fades. If shooting at people, make sure they wear eye protection, as these could seriously hurt someone if fired into an eye! I use my one as a bird scarer, it scares the pigeons from my garden, otherwise they eat all the bird food in one sitting! Don’t wet too many pellets as after a while, (more than a few weeks maybe), they start to get mushy and when fired, they fragment straight away, so are basically useless. This is the second pistol, as the first one delivered didn’t work.
