    Convert to a better rice grain!

We are converted. This doesn’t taste different to normal rice and is super versatile for curries, chilli, rice and veg, stir fry etc dishes. The fact that it’s good for you and is kinder to your disgestive system is the game changer for me. The family are converted.Cooks the same as normal rice, same timings too and I’ve used in a pot or in a rice cooker. Looks beautiful on plate.If you are combining with a white rice then cook the rices separately as the rice berry rice will colour everything purple.

Follow the advice, you need to give it some time to rest after cooking to reabsorb. Cook it with some kaffir leaves and it soaks up the flavour pretty well.It tastes fairly nutty but it's only subtle.I would definitely recommend this, perhaps at the price I wouldn't be using this as an everyday rice but certainly nice to have as a change.The pack are also really well vacuum packed so good for storing away until needed.

Used it in a mushroom stroganoff, it was delicious. Have had black rice several times. I’m pleased it’s on Amazon now. Great flavour and amazing price, will buy this brand again!
