Look on you tube there are some good videos on how to do it. Test your iPad before removing the release film on the new screen glue strips just in case your new digitiser screen or lcd screen underneath are damaged or not working properly, any problems with new digitiser screen check your connections. Do not stick down until you know all is fine. Getting a new screen back off without damaging it is very difficult. **Q: How much heat is needed to activate the glue on the new screen?** A: Depending on the heat setting, which may as well be maximum, around 10 minutes should be good. Start to prise up the edges when you are able keeping the heat applied. Be prepared if the screen cracks to have a replacement available. **Q: What is covered under warranty as i have fitted this to ipad all is well but now home button has become loose ?** A: You have to contact the seller directly and ask them. The glass on my iPad Air was totally shattered. As it's quite an old model now, I was able to buy an identical replacement for about the same money as it would have cost to have the screen replaced professionally, but this left me with the old fully functioning iPad but with a shattered screen. Having bought this screen (I got a white one to identify the old one from the new one) I found a YouTube video for the replacement procedure and soon discovered that the tools supplied with this item were totally inadequate. You will need: Nitrile gloves Eye protection (I used my reading glasses) A heat gun or hairdryer A metal tool such as a knife or thin steel ruler Something to tape up the old glass if it is shattered A vacuum cleaner nozzle with a soft brush head The hardest part of this is removing the old screen. The video will show you how, but you must have a metal tool, not the useless plastic ones that are supplied. As for tape to keep the old shattered screen together and minimise loose glass fragments, I found that masking tape was preferable to clear tape as it it will withstand the heat form the heat gun better. Having done that and removed the LCD screen, you will need to clean off carefully all of the old adhesive residue with some suitable solvent. The screen itself fitted perfectly and the Home button fitted to it seems to be ok. There are some intricate procedures in the course of this operation.
